MANILA, Philippines -- Comedian Vice Ganda and singer-actress Karylle had a "bed scene" for the Lenten drama special of their noontime show "It's Showtime."
In the episode based on the real-life story of the Sacdalan family, who are contestants on the show's Bida Kapamilya segment, Vice Ganda plays Winnie, a homosexual man who falls in love with Lotlot, played by Karylle.
"Noong narinig namin yung 'cut,' nagtilian kaming dalawa (ni Karylle). Sabay tayo kami sa kama, nagbihis kaming dalawa," Ganda said after taping the bed scene.
"Actually hindi pa ako nakaka-bed scene. Siguro very light lang, naka-pajama," Karylle added.
While doing the episode, Vice Ganda admitted that he really had a difficult time doing the dramatic scenes.
"Ang hirap kasi hindi naman ako gumagawa ng drama. Nahihiya kasi ako dito (Karylle) dahil baka hindi ako maka-deliver kaya tumodo ako," Vice Ganda said.
To make him cry, the comedian listened to songs that he really loves.
"May kinalaman sa past na kapag naririnig ko 'yung mga 'yon ay mayroon akong naaalalala," explained Ganda, who declined to provide further details.
