|President Benigno Aquino III and his youngest sister Kris Aquino
MANILA, Philippines – Kris Aquino left for Europe without talking to her brother, President Benigno Aquino III.
The Chief Executive himself revealed this as he evaded a question on whether he's given his youngest sister advice amid the latest scandal in her life.
In an interview with “TV Patrol” last Thursday, Kris announced her resignation from her three shows on ABS-CBN to devote her time to her son, James “Bimby” Yap Jr. amid the legal battle for his custody between her and ex-husband, basketball player James Yap.
Kris said Bimby was traumatized after seeing Yap try to seduce her.
Kris gave the interview along with sisters Pinky, Ballsy and Viel.
Asked about his sister, the President said: "I haven't talked to her. I haven't talked to her prior to her appearance on that interview. She has left for Paris together with her kids. I got information about it from my other sisters yesterday. But I haven't talked to my youngest sister."
The Chief Executive, who is the middle child in the brood, was referring to Kris' departure with Bimby and Joshua for Paris last Saturday after Yap failed to secure a hold departure order against them.
Kris has filed for a permanent protection order against Yap but the basketball star claims this controversy is because of his refusal to relinquish parental rights over Bimby.
The President didn't seem happy to be asked about his youngest sister.
The reporter who asked the question about Kris even prefaced it with, "Sir, pasensya na ha, I have to ask this question."
To which the President replied, "And probably I won't answer the question. Sige…"
The question was the last question before the mini-press conference ended.
