MANILA, Philippines – Actress Anne Curtis has expressed her full support to her "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" co-star Kris Aquino, who is currently facing a legal battle against her former husband, basketball player James Yap.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Sunday, Curtis said she has not talked to Aquino yet since she announced her resignation last Thursday on "TV Patrol" but vowed to always be there for her “ate.”

“She has my 150% support, especially Bimby is my inaanak. They have my support. We were taping I think the night before [she announced her resignation]. I was with her, she’s very devastated,” she said.

“I just texted her, I said ‘Ate, you know I love you.’ There’s only so much you can say... so I just let her know that I’m here for her and for Bimby,” she added.

Curtis said she is also glad to know that Aquino will be finishing their series, which is nearing its end.

“I don’t know how we are gonna go about it but based from what was announced, I think she has commitments kasi to the network so I think she needs to finish it. We’re on our last two to three tapings na lang,” she said.

Aside from being Aquino’s co-star in the primetime series Curtis is also known to have a close relationship with the host-actress. Aquino has declared several times in the past that Curtis is like her little sister.

Aquino is currently in a two-week European vacation with her sons Joshua and Bimby.

Before leaving for Paris, France on Saturday, Aquino said she will return to the Philippines to finish her commitments with the Kapamilya network.
