1997 vs. 2011
The remake, however, will not be an exact copy of the original story, director Wenn Deramas said.
Young, who bagged the lead role, said she feels blessed that she was chosen to give justice to the character originally played by Claudine Barretto.
"Siyempre very overwhelming din dahil napakalaking proyekto na ito and I'm reprising Ms. Claudine Barretto. I'm filling in very big shoes pero at the same time, napakasaya ko po. Kinakabahan ako pero I'm just really happy," said Young.
"Mula Sa Puso" will air on weekdays right before "TV Patrol". -Report By Nikki delos Santos, abs-cbnNEWS.com
