MANILA - Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla and ex-husband Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari were all smiles on Friday as they witnessed the wedding of their daughter, "It's Showtime" co-host Karylle.
The former couple walked Karylle down the aisle and brought her to the singer's partner of over three years, Yael Yuzon, who turned emotional at the sight of his bride.
The wedding was held at San Antonio ng Padua Church in Silang, Cavite, a day before Karylle's 33rd birthday.
Tatlonghari and Padilla separated when Karylle was only 6. Their marriage was annulled in 2011.
At the time, Karylle referred to the annulment as "a time for healing," noting that it had been a tumultuous last 20 years.
"It's still part of the separation that I experienced when I was very, very young," she said at the time. "So it's not completely that I'm overjoyed. I'm happy it's done, but I believe we celebrate beginnings."
At the time the marriage was annulled, Padilla was in a 20-year relationship with late film icon Dolphy, who passed away in July 2012.
The only daughter of Tatlonghari and Padilla, Karylle had as maids of honor her half-sisters -- Nicole and Zia, Padilla's children with Dolphy -- at the wedding on Friday.
