MANILA - Sexy actress Ellen Adarna on Thursday confirmed that she will not be part of the upcoming movie of "It's Showtime" host Vhong Navarro.

Adarna made the statement amid reports that she was replaced by Solenn Heussaff for the project.

In an interview after the press conference for her first ABS-CBN project, the series "Moon of Desire," Adarna briefly said that it was the management's decision.

"Desisyon po ng management kasi hindi naman nila ako kinausap pa," she said.

Adarna went on to say that she considers this as "a blessing in disguise," citing how she will be very busy with her new soap.

"Mahirap din kasi, feeling ko every day na silang magte-taping ngayon kasi ipu-push pa rin 'yung April 19 na showing, eh 'yung time ko ito, nandito sa soap," she explained.

"I mean sayang, pero thankful din also kasi hirap ako sa character ko rito [sa 'Moon of Desire], hirap ako sa soap. Minsan nagte-taping kami ng 27 hours walang tulog, so how much more kung ipagsabay ko 'yung dalawa? Wala na akong kaluluwa pagdating ko sa set. So bale blessing in disguise," she added.

Adarna was reportedly removed from the horror-comedy movie after Navarro was mauled by the group of businessman Cedric Lee and model Deniece Cornejo.

The sexy actress earlier confirmed that she knows Lee.

"Totoo naman na kilala ko si Cedric but 'yung friendship namin... but I don't even have his number. So kilala ko siya, I mean I meet him when I go out or may common friends kami, pero hindi kami best friends or nagte-text," she said.

Adarna also denied rumors that Navarro used to court her.

"Wala, hindi siya nanligaw. No, it's not true," she said.

Working with John Lloyd

Meanwhile, Adarna said she dreams of working with local box office king John Lloyd Cruz someday.

"[Gusto kong makatrabaho] si John Lloyd kasi ang galing niya [umakting]," she said.

When asked if she is willing to do sexy scenes with Cruz, Adarna replied: "Hindi nakaka-pressure. No po, pero if it's part of the show, if it's required, wala akong magagawa. For now, I'm not thinking of having sexy scenes with John Lloyd."

Adarna's series, "Moon of Desire," will premiere on ABS-CBN on March 31.
