Wants to go 'sky diving' before getting hitched
MANILA - Following a bevy of recent celebrity engagements, actress Anne Curtis was asked if she, herself, is ready to tie the knot with boyfriend, food blogger Erwan Heussaff.
In an interview on ABS-CBN's "Tapatan Ni Tunying" aired Thursday, the 28-year-old actress hopes that Heussaff is the one she gets to exchange vows.
But the 29-year-old actress shared that she doesn't want to put any pressure on the relationship, and revealed a bucket list that she wants to go through first before finally marrying.
"Hindi naman ako pupunta sa relasyon kung hindi naman doon papunta [marriage]. Pero siyempre nakaka-pressure naman sa lalaki 'yoon," she said. "Kaya hindi naman pinaguusapan."
Curtis added that sky diving tops her list, explaining that she would not be as willing to sacrifice her safety if she had a family of her own.
"Kasi 'yun mga 'yun hindi mo na pwedeng gawin kasi may pamilya ka na at asawa na maiiwan. At mag one more trip with my girlfriends bago ikasal," she added.
Aside from hosting the noontime program, "It's Showtime," Curtis also stars as the title character in ABS-CBN's newest fantaserye, an adaptation of Mars Ravelo's "Dyesebel."
The actress shared that she feels honored to be playing the role, originally given to Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, and reprised by the likes of Alma Moreno (1978), Alice Dixson (1990), Charlene Gonzales (1996) and Marian Rivera (2008).
"Ang maganda nga kasi eh nabibilang mo pa sa kamay kung sino 'yung mga gumanap bilang Dyesebel. Lahat sila may kanya kanyang binigay eh," she said.
Asked on what makes her portrayal different from the others, "Ito lang ang Dyesebel na hindi maganda ang boses," she quipped.
"Tapatan Ni Tunying" airs every Thursday on Kapamilya Gold, while "Dysebel airs weekdays on primetime after "TV Patrol."
