MANILA - Young actress Julia Barretto is proud of her former leading man, Diego Loyzaga, for his willingness to be part of "Mirabella" as a supporting character.
It was reported that Loyzaga was initially considered to be one of Barretto's leading men in Mirabella. During the show's press conference on Tuesday, he was introduced as one of the antagonists.
"Alam mo, bilib ako. Like with Diego, Diego is still part of the show. Sabi ko, 'Alam mo Diego, bilib ako sa iyo dahil 'yan ang tatatak sa kanila, your willingness to be in the show,'" Barretto said of Loyzaga.
"He is a good guy. His time will come. Everybody's time will come," she added.
Meanwhile, Enrique Gil, one of Barretto's leading men in "Mirabella," said he is just thrilled to work with the actress and hopes for the show's success.
"Inisip ko lang na, 'wow parang another love team agad." I just want na 'yung simula ay OK kami para sa chemistry. I just wanted na mag-click talaga, gusto ko lang maging smooth and successful talaga," Gil said.
Aside from Gil, Sam Concepcion is also part of "Mirabella" as Barretto's leading man.
"Mirabella" will premiere this March 24 before "TV Patrol."
