Awra Briguela had everyone in fits of laughter when he paid tribute to Elizabeth Ramsey on Saturday's "Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids," including Jaya, the late comedian's daughter.
The soul singer was part of the studio audience as she earlier watched Lyca Gairanod impersonate her, and was seen recording Awra's performance of her mother's song, "Waray, Waray."
"Napaka-entertaining mo talaga," judge Ogie Alcasid told Awra afterward. "Hindi mawala iyong titig ko sa iyo."
Alcasid's fellow judge, Sharon Cuneta, however, felt that Awra wasn't as animated as Ramsey whenever she took over a stage, but still praised the young comedian-actor for his number.
"Hinahanap ko rin iyong pagiging animated niya, iyon lang naman pero apart from that, kuhang kuha mo si Mama Beth na mahal na mahal at miss na miss na namin," she said.
Briguela was one of the celebrity performers on Saturday's episode of the talent competition. The others were Sam Shoaf as Enrique Iglesias, Lyca Gairanod as Jaya, and Xia Vigor as Aaron Carter.
