MYX to pay tribute to Francis M.

The No. 1 music channel MYX will pay tribute to the late master rapper Francis Magalona via a two-part documentary dubbed “MYXPOSED: Francis M. - Man from Manila!”

It will feature personal stories from his friends, fans, and colleagues. The documentary will also feature music videos by the master rapper as well as his live performances.

One of the most popular rappers in the country, Magalona was and continued to be an inspiration to a lot of bands and artists.

Dubbed as the “King of Pinoy Rap,” he had collaborated with local artists to produce award-winning albums and was also known to be the pioneer of merging rap with Filipino rock.

Recognizing his unmatched contribution to the music industry by promoting patriotism through his craft, the government also awarded him with the presidential medal of merit.

Catch the first part of this touching and inspiring special for the “Man from Manila” on March 31 at 9:30 p.m. followed by the second part on April 28 at 9:30 p.m.
