MANILA -- Actor Gabby Concepcion returns to the Kapamilya network via the fantasy series "Dyesebel" with Anne Curtis in the title role.
He was last seen on ABS-CBN in the primetime series "Kahit Puso'y Masugatan" with Jake Cuenca, Andi Eigenmann and Iza Calzado, which ran from July 2012 to February 2013.
He also starred in the 2013 movie "When the Love is Gone" with Cristine Reyes.
"Maganda naman 'yung istorya, this is a Mars Ravelo franchise, Concepcion told ABS-CBNNews.com in a recent interview about "Dysebel."
"I'd love to be here buti na lang I am. I think it's the best thing that happened to me this 2014," he added.
Concepcion said he's happy to playing a challenging role.
"I think the challenge is sa casting. It's nice that we are part of it. I'm really grateful dahil ang role na ibinigay sa akin ay significant," he said.
"Dyesebel," which tells the story of the well-loved mermaid of Pinoy komiks, premieres Monday night after "TV Patrol."
