She plays a suburban mom who dies and finds herself transformed into a zombie. But flesh isn't the only thing Drew Barrymore, the star of "Santa Clarita Diet," is craving for nowadays.
She's also pretty "obsessed" with earrings.
This became apparent during her interview with ABS-CBN News' Marie Lozano in Manila on Monday, when she immediately noticed the reporter's seahorse accessory. She fell in love with it and was visibly delighted when Lozano gave it to her as a gift.
The earrings was from a collection by Filipino designer Ken Samudio. Lozano first shared the earrings, made out of capiz shells, on her Instagram earlier this month during a trip to Amanpulo.
Barrymore is in the country to promote the premiere of the second season of the horror-comedy "Santa Clarita Diet," a Netflix original that follows Sheila and her husband, Joe (Timothy Olyphant), as they try and keep her appetite for human flesh at bay.
Barrymore and Olyphant, who is also in the country, described being warmly welcomed by their Filipino fans as "surreal," "beautiful," and "overwhelming."
