MANILA -- ABS-CBN's hit fantasy series "Galema" starring Andi Eigenmann promises a final shock for viewers as it ends its run later this month.
"Galema," about a girl who was born with twin snakes attached to her neck, will air its final episode on March 28, six months since it made its debut on September 30, 2013.
Over the past six months, viewers saw Galema's difficult journey --from her sheltered childhood to her battle with her beastly father Zuma (Derick Hubalde), her marriage with Morgan (Matteo Guidicelli), and up to now that her daughter Sophia is missing.
For Eigenmann, her stint with the show made her realize that snakes are "not scary after all."
The actress said she is excited about the show's ending.
For the final episodes of the series, Galema will be fighting the transformed character of Galela played by Sheryl Cruz.
After "Galema," Eigenmann will join the upcoming series "Dyesebel" with Anne Curtis in the title role.
"Masaya ako na nakikita ng management kung gaano ako ka dedicated sa trabaho ko," Eigenmann said about her next project.
