MANILA -- Here's a look at "It's Showtime" co-hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis before they got their respective big breaks in showbiz.
Already an actress at age 12, Curtis described her transfer to ABS-CBN in 2004 as "majorly life changing," as it is with the network where she bagged her first lead role in a TV series. At 29, Curtis is now one of the country's top endorsers and is even set to take on the iconic role of "Dyesebel" in ABS-CBN's upcoming adaptation.
Then a regular performer at comedy bars, Vice Ganda, meanwhile, rose to popularity in 2009 when he became one of the "hurados" on "It's Showtime." Here, the comedian made popular the expression "May nag-text," which eventually became the title of his concert series. Now, Vice Ganda holds the distinction of starring in five of the 10 highest grossing films in the Philippines.
