MANILA -- What's next for the stars of "Honesto" now that the top-rating inspirational series is now down to its last two weeks?
Child actor Raikko Mateo, who plays the title role of a young boy whose nose gets big whenever he lies, is hoping to do another show.
And the boy will likely get his wish since Dreamscape head for advertising and promotions Biboy Arboleda has confirmed that Mateo will be appearing in "Wansapanataym."
Actress Cristine Reyes, meanwhile, will be busy doing movies after the show.
"Ako puro pelikula ang gagawin ko after 'Honesto.' Actually sinisimulan ko na siya, isang comedy and isang drama. 'Yung comedy with Anne Curtis and Sam Milby. Tapos yung drama with Heart Evangelista, John Estrada and Derek Ramsay. Tapos may susunod pang dalawang pelikula," reported Reyes, adding that with her busy schedule, she does not have any time left for her love life.
Lead actor Paulo Avelino reported that has already started taping for a new series.
"After po nitong 'Honesto' mayroon akong gagawing isa sa Dreamscape, nagsimula na kahapon," Avelino said.
"Honesto," which airs weeknights after "TV Patrol," will air its finale on March 14, after nearly four months as the No. 1 primetime show in the Philippines, according to Kantar Media.
In January, "Honesto" maintained its overall lead with an average national audience share of 29.7%, as measured using a panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes.
On February 24, “Honesto” scored its newest all-time high national TV rating of 35.6%, or more than double its rival program, GMA's “Adarna,” which only got 17.1%.
The show also conquered social networking sites such as Twitter, where the hashtag #HonestosLastFifteenNights became one of the worldwide trending topics.
