MANILA -- Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon is relieved that his fiancee Karylle has reconciled with her "It's Showtime" co-host Vice Ganda just before their planned wedding.

"It's good, it's great. She actually played cool kasi it's always been naman about them, it's them. So okay na 'yon," Yuzon said in a chance interview with ABS-CBNNews.com on Thursday.

Asked if everything has also been settled between him and Vice Ganda, Yuzon said: "Yes, of course."

The two "It's Showtime" hosts shared an emotional moment on the noontime program Tuesday following their publicized rift over an alleged comment made by Yuzon.

"Aalis na ako, 'no. Ayoko namang umalis na kagalit ko pa 'to. Mahal ko 'to," said Vice Ganda, left for San Francisco on Wednesday for a concert on February 28.

In the interview Thursday, Yuzon stressed that he has nothing against gay people.

"I will never say that. They are really like good people. I really love gay people," Yuzon said.

Currently, Yuzon and his band are busy promoting Sponge Cola's album "Ultrablessed" under Universal Records.
