MANILA – Anne Curtis said she personally asked Angelica Panganiban about John Lloyd Cruz after the latter figured in an accident while they were shooting for a new ABS-CBN station ID in Mount Pinatubo last week.
“Oo nakamusta ko siya through Angelica. Okay naman daw siya. At least he’s safe. He did all the tests naman daw. I guess that’s a good thing,” she told ABS-CBN News.
The “Dyesebel” star reiterated all of them are on good terms even after the controversy she and Cruz got embroiled in late last year. A drunk Curtis reportedly slapped three people, including Cruz, at an upscale bar in Taguig last November.
“Hindi naman kami nag-away [ni Angelica]. Okay naman talaga kami. There’s no issue at all. Even with John Lloyd walang issue at all. It’s really the press that made it exaggerated but super no issue at all,” she said.
Curtis said she misses bonding with Panganiban because they used to be neighbors.
On Vice-Karylle rift
Meanwhile, Curtis said she is happy to hear that her “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Vice Ganda and Karylle have patched things up.
“That’s very good. Whatever man yung nangyari sa kanila, it’s normal among friends and among family. Tampuhan happens but it only makes the relationship stronger after,” she said.
“It’s normal for friends naman to have a misunderstanding. What matters is how you are able to patch it up. I think they are slowly getting there, so it’s a good thing,” she added.
Curtis said all of the “It’s Showtime” hosts had a good talk about it and they are glad that Karylle and Vice Ganda are slowly rekindling their friendship.
“Siyempre awkward pero normal naman pa rin because we are all friends. Nag-aasaran nga na, ‘Uy pansinan na iyan.’ Sa amin na lang yun. Oo naman, nag-usap kami. Basta what we want naman is for them to be okay. They’ll be okay,” she said.
