MANILA, Philippines – Actor Cesar Montano believes he and wife Sunshine Cruz should resolve their marital problems on their own and that other people should not be dragged into the issue.
This comes after starlet Krista Miller appeared on “The Buzz” on Sunday and denied that she is the third party in the marriage of the celebrity couple.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Sunday, Montano said: “’Yun ay naging problema within our family, it has to be fixed inside our family. Hindi ko kailangan idamay ang ibang tao.”
Montano said those who say they are concerned about his family should just pray for them and not add fuel to the fire.
“If you think you are a concerned person sa pamilya namin, then we need your prayers. Pray for us. Marami pong salamat,” he said.
Despite this, Montano vowed to continue to do his job as actor-director of the upcoming movie "The Turning Cradle: The Untold Story of Alfredo Lim," which opens this week.
“I’m being paid to do a film, to promote it, kailangan gawin ko. Kung ano man ang problema ko sa pribadong bagay, I have to keep it to myself. Isasantabi ko iyon of course,” he said.
“Aayusin ko 'yun sa sarili ko at aasikasuhin ko ang trabahong ito kung saan ako binayaran. At ipakita ko na nagtatrabaho ako,” he added.
On "The Buzz," Miller denied that she has – or had – a relationship with Montano.
Cruz, for her part, said she didn't watch Miller’s interview. In her official Twitter account, Cruz chose not to comment and just thanked those who expressed support. – from a report by Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
