MANILA, Philippines -- The kiddie gag show "Goin' Bulilit" starts its year-long seventh birthday celebration today with former castmembers recalling their happy moments on the show.

Since its conception seven years ago, “Goin’ Bulilit” not only garnered awards, it has also honed numeroys young talents. Among the young performers who were "graduates" of the show are Julia Montes, Kathryn Bernardo and Zaijian Jaranilla.

ABS-CBN’s latest comedy series “Luv U” also features former Bulilits such as sina Miles Ocampo, Kiray, Igiboy Flores and CJ Navato.

These young actors said that they are all indebted to the lessons they have learned from “gag father” director Bobot Mortiz.

In an interview with director Frasco Mortiz, he said the show's biggest contribution is producing responsible and disciplined actors who are now ready to work ethically and professionally in other projects.

He added that during his bonding time with the kids, he shares with them that celebrities usually experience misfortune if they become drunk with fame.

The class-like gang of “Goin’ Bulilit” is still ongoing and continues to hone new batches of Bulilits.

“Goin’ Bulilit” airs every Sunday after “TV Patrol Weekend” on ABS-CBN.
