MANILA - Now approaching its second year and with over 400 episodes since its July 2012 debut, "Be Careful With My Heart" remains the No. 1 daytime program in the Philippines, according to Kantar Media.

Last month, the "kilig-serye" directed by Jeffrey Jeturian once again became the lone daytime show to rank among the 15 most watched programs in the Philippines. It ranked 12th overall with an average national audience share of 17.8% for the month.

Its latest nationwide rating on February 17 was at 19.8%, also according to Kantar Media, ranking it fifth for the day in a list dominated by primetime shows.

"Dahil sa suporta ng mga manonood, patuloy kaming nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na magpasaya at magbigay ng pag-asa at inspirasyon sa mas marami pang tao," lead star Jodi Sta. Maria said, referring to the consistent high ratings of the series.

Her character, nanny-turned-flight attendant Maya, is now expecting twins with former employer and now-husband Ricky (Richard Yap). This milestone in the lead characters' relationship follows several other much talked-about scenes in their love story, including their first date, first kiss, and most recently, their wedding day.

"Masarap sa pakiramdam na kahit papaano ay nakakatulong sa kapwa sa kakaibang paraan," Yap said. "May mga may sakit kaming viewers na kapag nakita na kami ay sumasaya na."

Asked how much longer "Be Careful With My Heart" will air, Yap said, "Nandito lang kami lagi para pasayahin ang mga manonood at gagawin namin ito hangga't kailangan pa nila kami."

As for what's still in store for loyal viewers of the series, which airs weekdays at 11:45 a.m., Sta. Maria teased that the new members of the family will bring changes to the show.

"Dapat tutukan ng lahat ang pagdating ng bagong member ng Lim family at kung paano babaguhin nina baby kambal ang buhay nina Maya at Ser Chief," she said.
