MANILA - "It's Showtime" co-host Anne Curtis dedicated a song to her boyfriend, food blogger and athlete Erwan Heussaff, during the opening segment of the noontime program on Valentine's Day.
Following other romance-themed performances from her co-hosts, Curtis gave a brief message to the audience and later to Heussaff about love and having a relationship.
"'Di ba po, napakasarap ma-inlove? Lalo na when you know that you've met someone who is there for you all the time, naiintindihan niya 'yung pagkabaliw mo, he's your shoulder to cry on," she said.
"And you know na you've met the [right] person [when] on a whim, you'd be willing to run away with him, to go on an adventure together. And it doesn't matter kung saan man kayo magpunta, kasi alam niyo kayong dalawa ang magkasama."
Before singing "Runaway" by The Corrs, Curtis addressed Heussaff, saying, "Because it's Valentine's Day, mon amour ('my love'), you know it's you. I love you! Happy Valentine's Day! This is for you!"
Although open about their relationship, Curtis and Heussaff have had to deny repeatedly that they are planning to get married soon, citing their respective careers as their priority.
