MANILA, Philippines -- Host-actress Kris Aquino finally spoke up on the controversy involving her "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" leading man Robin Padilla and his wife, Mariel Rodriguez.
Last week, Padilla admitted that his wife was affected by his love scenes with Aquino, his former girlfriend.
The wedding and honeymoon scenes of the former real-life couple had viewers glued to their TV screens. In the episode of the action-drama series that aired on February 5, Bogs (Padilla) and Roxanne (Aquino) were seen exchanging vows, before going on a honeymoon trip to Boracay.
"Eto ha. Can I just end this once and for all? I was also young, I was also immature. 'Yung parang pinagdaanan ko din 'yan before, so inunawa ko na lang. And hindi ba the series will end (soon)? ...By April we are done but hopefully a marriage is forever," Aquino said during the press conference for the fourth season of "Pilipinas Got Talent," which will start airing on Saturday, February 16.
Aquino is returning as one of the judges, along with Ai Ai delas Alas and former ABS-CBN top executive Freddie Garcia.
"At kahit na marami ang nanunulsol sa akin and all, hindi ko pinansin talaga kasi wala naman talaga akong mapapala doon. Ang importante ay mapanatili nila ang pagmamahalan nila sa isa't isa," Aquino said.
"OK na 'yan. I don't want to talk about it anymore kasi finished na. I'm dying na nga in the series. Obviously hindi na 'yan mangyayari ulit mayroon ng ibang pinagdadaanan si Roxanne," she added.
Last week, Padilla thanked Aquino for convincing Rodriguez to reconsider her supposed plan to leave her husband.
Rodriguez, who admitted that she is "not comfortable with love scenes" also thanked Aquino.
