MANILA - The "It's Showtime" hosts via Jhong Hilario condoled with the family of comedian Arvin "Tado" Jimenez, who died last Friday due to a bus accident.

"Puputulin ko lang 'yung kasiyahan natin. 'Yung buong 'Showtime' gusto lang makiramay sa pamilya ni Tado. Nakasama din natin siya rito, 'di ba?" Hilario said during the "It's Showtime" segment "PoGay" on Monday.

"Rest in peace, Tado. Nagpapasaya din sa atin 'yan ng isang linggo nung nag-hurado 'yan," he added.

Jimenez was among the 14 killed after a Florida bus fell off a ravine in Bontoc, Mountain Province last Friday.

Hours before the incident, Jimenez shared on Instagram a photo of a bus headed to Bontoc, captioned: "Long trip, as in trip trip."

Jimenez, who was planning to write a story about his Mt. Province trip in a book, was also scheduled to shoot a "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode in Baguio.

In 2010, Vice Ganda and Jimenez had a misunderstanding after the latter commented to a group of contestants that their performance was "pang-gay (for gays)."

The two eventually ended their rift, saying sorry to the viewers for their remarks.
