After squabble, Mariel vows to be a good wife to Robin
MANILA, Philippines - Television host Mariel Rodriguez is now in cloud nine after her husband, action star Robin Padilla expressed his love for her on national television on Thursday.
Padilla admitted that his wife got jealous after the airing of an episode of the drama series "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" on Tuesday night. In it, Bogs (Padilla) and Roxanne (Kris Aquino) are seen exchanging vows before going on a honeymoon trip to Boracay.
On Twitter, Padilla thanked her husband for loving her and for protecting her against online bashers.
"My hero!!! thank you babe! @robinhoodpadilla mahal na mahal na mahal kita!!!! thank you for loving me...whether im at my best or at my worst u love me. thank you!!! i promise to be a good girl ??? best wife!!! i love you!!!," she tweeted.
"Haba ng hair ko.size23 waistline ko.tangkad ko.babaeng babae ako!!! ang saya saya ko!!! salamat sa asawa ko," she added.
Rodriguez also defended herself as she admitted that she's really transparent when it comes to her feelings. She stressed that she will not change just to please everybody.
"Im really OA. Everything I do is over the top. I've always been honest w my feelings.u dont have 2 like it & I dont have to change to please u," she said.
"Right now I just feel so blessed and grateful that I have a husband who loves and protects me ?," Rodriguez stressed.
The television host vowed that she will try to be the best wife, saying Padilla is a good husband
"Dahil mabait ang asawa ko lalo kong sisikapin na maging mabait :) :) :)."
On Thursday, Padilla bared that Rodriguez removed her wedding ring out of jealousy after she saw Padilla's love scene with Aquino in the new teleserye.
Padilla then thanked Aquino for her effort to convince his wife to return to their house.
Padilla even challenged his wife's critics to a fist fight.
"Tara dito wag natin daanin dito sa social media kasi walang mangyayari sa salita... Mag aantay ako dito, Game lets rumble mahal ko ang asawa ko kaya tumahimik ang duwag," he said.
