Vice Ganda hospitalized
MANILA - Comedian Vice Ganda is now confined at St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City due to fever and LBM.
TV host Kris Aquino said the actor had been feeling sick since last week.
"Thursday pa lang GGV (taping) not feeling well na siya. Friday hindi siya nakapag-Showtime pero pinilit niyang makapag-shooting ng Praybeyt Benjamin. Saturday nagsho-shooting and he was telling me na 'Hindi okay. Mayroon akong hindi magandang pakiramdam,'" Aquino said in her show "Aquino & Abunda Tonight."
"Sunday we were supposed to go to Mass together. 'Not feeling ako, asawa. Rest na lang muna ako.' Then, today I asked Paul Cabral kung ano ang nangyayari. He kept throwing up and LBM, up and down nagka-fever na maybe because of dehydration," Aquino added.
Tina Viceral, Ganda's sibling, said the comedian still has fever. The Viceral family is still waiting for Vice's laboratory results.
"Alam mo katigasan din kasi ng ulo niya, he doesn't eat before Showtime. ... ang unang kain ay after 'It's Showtime' which is a heavy meal at about 3:30 to 4 p.m. and then puyat nang puyat kasi yun ang nakasanayan niya. Sanay siya na natutulog kapag paakyat ang araw, so bago magsimula ang Showtime ay apat na oras lang ang tulog. Tapos kakain tapos magsi-siyesta," Aquino said.
On Monday morning, Ganda posted via his Instagram account a photo showing his hand with hospital tag and dextrose IV tube.
The caption said: "Not a good way to start the week."
