MANILA - KZ Tandingan, dubbed the local music scene's "Soul Supreme," has brought to China her signature spunk and style as she faces the likes of Jessie J in a singing competition.

"The X Factor Philippines" winner, 25, was the latest challenger introduced in "Singer 2018" after a recent elimination in the reality show. Tandingan could stay until the competition's finale in April, if she doesn't get eliminated, too, through public voting.

The "ASAP" mainstay is up against other professional singers from different countries. Aside from Jessie J from the UK, the contenders include Tien Chong from Hong Kong, Angela Chang from Taiwan, and Li Xiaodong, Wang Feng, James Li, and Juno Su, all from China.

In photos, here's a look at Tandingan's debut in "Singer 2018," which airs Fridays.
