Montes said she initially wanted to include Dee but the actor would not be able to make it to her 18th birthday celebration because of prior commitments.
"Lahat ng nasa 18 roses, lahat 'yon friend ko. 'Yun lang, may prior schedule siya (Dee), ayaw naman ng team ko na mabungi 'yung 18 roses," she told reporters on Tuesday.
In the interview, Montes also personally invited her "Walang Hanggan" leading man Coco Martin to be her escort.
Asked if Dee won't be part of her 18 roses to avoid being hurt because of Martin, the actress replied: "Hindi naman."
Montes has denied that Martin was the reason why Dee stopped pursuing her.
Dee, who is one of the stars of the top-rating ABS-CBN soap "Ina, Kapatid, Anak", earlier confirmed that he and Montes had a relationship, but refused to say that they were officially a couple.
Montes is now busy promoting her first full-length movie with Martin, "A Moment In Time", which will hit theaters on February 13 (Wednesday).
