MANILA -- Singer-host Billy Crawford was caught off guard during the live telecast of "It's Showtime" on Wednesday, when the subject of his relationship with co-host Coleen Garcia was suddenly brought up.
In a goofy moment during the program's "I Am Pogay" segment, co-host Vice Ganda asked Crawford why his hand supposedly smelled like Garcia's, drawing laughs from the audience.
"Amoy ng kamay ni Coleen! Ang bango! Bakit amoy ng kamay ni Coleen? Magkahawak kayo sa likod? Sabi niyo sa 'The Buzz,' ligaw pa lang," Vice Ganda said, referring to Crawford's interview in January confirming that he is courting the young actress.
"Sinasabi ko sa inyo, may nililihim kayo!" Vice Ganda teased.
A laughing Crawford instantly became tongue-tied, before coming up with a retort, warning Vice Ganda that he knows more "secrets" kept by the comedian. "Mas marami akong alam na nililihim mo!" he said,
Vice Ganda, in another move that triggered laughs, instantly took Crawford's words as a cue to carry on with the question-and-answer portion of "I Am Pogay."
Coming off his separation from actress-singer Nikki Gil in July 2013, Crawford and Garcia had to repeatedly deny being an item, which was rumored to be the cause of the breakup.
A photo of them together in the United States later surfaced -- a matter addressed by Crawford in his "Buzz ng Bayan" interview last month.
Crawford admitted that he is courting Garcia, but emphasized that she was "definitely not part of my past relationship at all."
The two continue to regularly co-host "It's Showtime," notably with little hint of their off-screen relationship.
