In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Martin said he just wants to make the most out of the many blessings coming his way because nothing in showbiz lasts forever.

Sabi ko nga, sana sa mga bagay na hinihiling mo, ready ka,” he said.

Currently promoting his newest series “Juan dela Cruz” and his upcoming movie “A Moment in Time,” Martin said he doesn’t mind having only four hours of sleep every day because he is doing this for his family.

On endorsing a politician

Meanwhile, the actor explained why he agreed to endorse Aurora Rep. Sonny Angara, who is vying for a seat in Senate in the upcoming midterm elections.

Tapos 'yung education, alam ko kung paano nagpursigi ang lola ko para maparaal ako,” he said.

Saying he has met the senatorial aspirant several times in various occasions, Martin said he is confident that he and Angara have a common vision.

Walang taong makakapagdikta sa akin kung ano dapat kong gawin,” he said.

Aside from Angara, Martin has also expressed his intention to help actors Richard Gomez and Aga Muhlach in their bid for a public post.
