J Lo, Cameron Diaz top mock polls in UP

MANILA - International superstar Jennifer Lopez topped the mock senatorial elections at the University of the Philippines Integrated School held on Saturday.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) used names of international celebrities in the mock polls.

The results were as follows:

  1. Jennifer Lopez (77 votes)
  2. Cameron Diaz (68 votes)
  3. Frank Allison (61 votes)
  4. Neil Armstrong (61 votes)
  5. Michael Jackson (58 votes)
  6. Tom Cruise (54 votes)
  7. Michael Buble (50 votes)
  8. Mariah Carey (49 votes)
  9. Sylvester Stallone (48 votes)
  10. David Pomeranz (47 votes)
  11. Jodie Foster (44 votes)
  12. Norma Macmillan (44 votes)

The results of the mock elections were posted outside the precinct after the polls.

J Lo was in Manila last November 2012 for a one-day concert at the Mall of Asia where treated her fans with energetic and riveting performances from start to finish.
