Vhong: 'Showtime' more than a dream come true
MANILA, Philippines -- Actor-comedian Vhong Navarro never expected that he would be given a chance to host a noontime show.
In an interview with Boy Abunda on "Bandila," Navarro, one of co-hosts of ABS-CBN's newest noontime show "It's Showtime," said his only dream was to become a dancer.
Navarro said he wasn't even aware that he's good in comedy until film director Chito Roño told him that he's the clown of his dance group "Street Boys."
Currently, Navarro is gearing for "It's Showtime" with Billy Crawford, Nikki Gil, Kim Atienza, Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, among others.
"It's Showtime" will premire this Monday, February 6, 2012.
