MANILA -- Although she has already proven that she can play leading lady roles in the primetime hits "Walang Hanggan" and last year's "Muling Buksan Ang Puso," actress Julia Montes doesn't mind taking on a supporting role in the upcoming series "Ikaw Lamang."

For the upcoming ABS-CBN show, Montes will be working again with her "Walang Hanggan" co-star Coco Martin and lead actress Kim Chiu.

"For me naman kasi walang term na supporting. 'Yung role ay maganda talaga, sobra," explained Montes on Thursday as she renewed her contract with ABS-CBN for another three years."Doon ako nanggaling, so why not gawin ko ulit ngayon?"

Montes said when she was told of the story, she didn't have to think twice about accepting the project.

Because of this, Montes appealed to her fans to understand and welcome her newest project.
