MANILA, Philippines -- Actor Gerald Anderson on Monday welcomed actress Dawn Zulueta, who is now officially part of the upcoming series "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin."

In a taped message, Anderson, along with the rest of the show's cast, greeted Zulueta, who is replacing veteran star Maricel Soriano in the series.
"Hi Miss Dawn, welcome to 'Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.' Sobra po kaming blessed, excited, privileged and thankful na kasama po kayo. Pumayag po kayo," Anderson said.
This is the second time Anderson will be working with Zulueta, who played his mother in the movie "Catch Me... I'm In Love," which also starred Sarah Geronimo.
"Sobrang blessed po ako na ito po 'yung pangalawang beses -- sa TV naman. Thank you, thank you at sobra kaming excited," Anderson said.
In an interview with ABS-CBNnews.com, Zulueta said she personally thanked Anderson for accepting her as part of the project.
"Kasi kanina nagkita kami sabi ko, 'Hi Gerald, thank you for having me.' Sabi niya, 'No, we are the one who are supposed to thank you for having us.' 'Yun 'yung opening greeting namin sa isa't isa," Zulueta said.
Last week, reports on Soriano's alleged outburst on the set of the upcoming drama series circulated online. The 47-year-old actress allegedly lost her temper while filming a scene with Anderson.
Soriano's management and that of ABS-CBN's -- which produces the TV series -- have since decided to exclude Soriano from the cast.
Star Magic, ABS-CBN's talent management arm, however, backed Anderson's “unassailable personal character and professional behavior,” following the incident.
