The 27-year-old actress is helping the Australian Embassy in Manila launch its official page on Facebook, coinciding with activities lined up to celebrate Australia Day.

In a post on its official Facebook page, the embassy thanked Curtis "for [her] consistent support... Her reach and status in social media is a big boost."

On Thursday, Curtis took to micro-blogging site Twitter to announce the launch of the Australian embassy's official page on Facebook, which quietly opened in December 2012.

As of writing, Curtis' Twitter account has 3,985,254 followers. The number ranks her in the top 200 personalities with the most number of followers.
