For John Lloyd, every day is Valentine's Day
MANILA -- John Lloyd Cruz said it is unlikely that he and girlfriend, actress Angelica Panganiban, will be celebrating Valentine's Day, citing their respective professional commitments.
The 30-year-old actor was asked how he plans to spend the February 14 on the sidelines of a press conference for his recently renewed product endorsement.
"Walang plano sa Valentine's. Unang-una, maraming trabaho, so kailangan i-prioritize 'yon. Pangalawa, traffic, mahirap sumabay. Tsaka na lang 'yung celebration," he said on Tuesday.
Cruz is currently gearing up for a new film under Star Cinema, in addition to taping weekly for the ABS-CBN sitcom, "Home Sweetie Home," where he co-stars with Toni Gonzaga.
Panganiban, on the other hand, recently started shooting a drama film, also under the ABS-CBN film outfit, where she will be paired for the first time with actor Gerald Anderson. The actress is also a mainstay of the late-night gag show "Banana Split," which airs weekdays and Saturdays.
Despite their busy schedules, Cruz said he and Panganiban make time for each other.
"Para sa amin naman, every day is Valentine's Day. Tamis, eh!" he quipped.
