MANILA - Veteran actress Nora Aunor believes that she is not worthy to be given the National Artist award.
In a recent interview with members of press for her upcoming indie film "Padre de Familia," Aunor said that there are Filipinos who are more deserving to be called National Artists.
Aunor said she is just happy that her friend and former showbiz rival, actress-politician Vilma Santos, believes that she deserves the honor to be called one the country's National Artists.
"Ay mabuti naman po, good naman po 'yon," she briefly said, reacting to Santos' statement.
Coco Martin, Aunor's co-star in "Padre de Familia," also expressed her support for the veteran actress.
