MANILA, Philippines - Young actor Enrique Gil vowed he will do his best to further hone his skills on screen even after his series "Princess and I" comes to an end.
In an interview with Push.com.ph, Gil said he is aware that for him to last long in the entertainment industry, he must constantly seek knowledge on how to be a better actor.

"I’m constantly learning. You always learn. You cannot stop learning kahit sobrang tagal mo na, kahit beterano, each time they act, you learn. Imposible ‘yung alam mo na lahat. Di mangyayari ‘yon,” he said.
Gil, meantime, said he is glad that most viewers acknowledge his hard work on "Princess and I."
“Masaya. Hindi mo nano-notice kapag ginagawa mo pero after a while, hindi mo pa alam na okay ‘yung ginagawa mo, ‘yung mga tao nahuhusayan sa ginagawa mo,” he said.
But the actor said it is just right that he gives justice to his role because ABS-CBN management entrusted it to him.
“Dapat lang [na husayan mo] kasi inilagay ka sa show na ‘yon eh, galingan mo. Kapag ‘di mo hinusayan parang ‘di mo ina-appreciate ‘yung trust sa ‘yo. So ‘yun bigay mo lahat,” he said.
While saying that his work sometimes drains him physically, Gil said it is where he draws inspiration when the cameras start rolling.
Gil plays the role of a prince in “Princess and I,” which is now down to its last three weeks.
When the series takes the final bow, Gil said he is expecting to do another drama project with ABS-CBN.
