Zsa Zsa: Less projects, more time with Dolphy
MANILA, Philippines- Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla’s career will take a backseat this 2011 to focus more on her family and 82-year-old partner Dolphy, the country’s King of Comedy.
During the benefit dinner for the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) on Sunday, Padilla said she wants to make the most out of their family life.
"I'm just doing MMK [Maalaala Mo Kaya] for now, I finished taping this morning. 'Yon lang muna for this year. Mas gusto ko mag-concentrate muna sa family," she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
The singer-actress, in particular, said she wants to personally take care of her partner, who suffered from pneumonia last year and reportedly needs extra care now.
"Sabi ko nga, mahirap, time is just precious. It's something that cannot turn back. So if you can give time, might as well do that," she added.
Meantime, Padilla revealed that she is preparing a “very big party” for the King of Comedy, who will celebrate his 83rd birthday in July.
"He'll be 83. We're already planning a very big party kaya lang family lang. We're going out of town," she said.
When asked about Dolphy's condition, Padilla replied: "He's okay. Actually he went back to taping last Thursday."
