MANILA – Television host and actress Kris Aquino does not want to take sides between Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador, who are allegedly at odds with each other because of actor Gerald Anderson.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Aquino said the intrigues hurled at Chiu and Salvador right now do not lessen her love for both actresses.
“Unfortunate lang ang mga circumstances ngayon at mga intriga pero hindi nadi-diminish noon ang pagmamahal ko sa dalawa,” she said.
Aquino, meantime, revealed that she was able to talk to Chiu recently about the matter.
After their conversation, Aquino said she told Chiu that the last thing she wants people to think of her is that she is bitter over everything that happened in the past.
“I’m not gonna deny na nakausap ko si Kim recently. Sinabi ko na lang kay Kimmy na ‘You are at such a good place in your life right now. Kung nasaan ka ngayon, doon ka mag-focus. Hindi mo naman maibabalik ang nakaraan,’” she said.
Aquino said she does not want to intervene in Chiu’s personal life but she will always be there for her as an elder sister.
“Very okay talaga [siya]. Ayaw ko siyang pangunahan kasi buhay niya iyan at ayaw kong manghimasok sa buhay nila pero kapag narinig niyo ang narrative niya, ang kuwento niya, maiintindihan niyo,” she said.
Last Tuesday, Chiu became emotional when she addressed reports romantically linking Salvador, who is her best friend, and Anderson, who was her former boyfriend.
Saying the turn of events caught her by surprise, Chiu said “nasayang 'yung friendship namin ni [Maja].”
