K-pop group JBJ thanked Filipino fans as they made a stop over in Manila on Sunday for the last leg of their Asian tour.
"The fans are really warm and welcoming so we are really happy as of now," member Takada Kenta said in Korean during a press conference Sunday morning, hours before the group's show.
Asked to use just one word to describe their Filipino fans, JBJ leader Noh Taehyun said, "joyful," referencing to the group's name "Just Be Joyful."
"I find them really joyful," Taehyun said.
Kenta added that once relieved from their busy schedule, he would like to return to the Philippines and visit Cebu.
"We all know that Cebu is quite famous and since I was a kid I always wanted to go to Cebu ... I really wanna try visiting Cebu," he said.
Aside from their Asian tour, the members of JBJ have also been busy preparing for their comeback. The group is set to release their mini album, "True Colors," on January 17.
JBJ is comprised of Taehyun, Kenta, Kim Yongguk (Jin Longguo), Kim Sanggyun, Kwon Hyunbin, and Kim Donghan.
The members first crossed paths in early 2017 through the second season of the reality survival program "Produce 101," where 101 male trainees from various entertainment companies competed to debut in an 11-member boy group.
Despite failing to place in the top 11, the show's fans named eliminated trainees they wanted to debut in another group, thus forming JBJ.
The group debuted in October 2017 with the single "Fantasy."
JBJ will hold their fan meeting Sunday night at the Kia Theatre in Cubao, Quezon City.
