MANILA – The Philippine show of Grammy winner Nelly has been postponed.
The event was originally scheduled on Friday, January 12, at the newly opened Cove Manila.
Cove Manila said it is now coordinating with the team of the acclaimed rapper to finalize the new date of his Manila concert.
“Due to the unforeseen events stemming from the Asia tour of Grammy Award-winning rap icon, Nelly, his management has decided to postpone the rest of his performances in the region, including a scheduled stop in Manila this coming Friday, January 12,” Cove Manila said in a statement.
“We will be extending complimentary entry and drink tickets for all ticket holders and VIP table guests from the Nelly event on Friday, January 12. DJ Wellman will be performing a special set.”

With his smooth, melodic rap style, Nelly topped international music charts. Among his most popular hits are “Dilemma,” “Hot in Here,” “Ride Wit Me,” and “Over and Over.”
