MANILA, Philippines – Young actress Julia Montes appealed to everyone to give her a chance to prove herself worthy of her role in the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Walang Hanggan.”

Montes revealed she has been receiving not-so-positive comments on the microblogging site Twitter, saying she is not fit to be Coco Martin’s leading lady.

Montes, however, asked for understanding, saying she is doing her best to give justice to her role.

Iba yung acting ko dito,” she said.

Meanwhile, the actress shared that she was nervous when she and Martin shot their first intimate scene.

Asked if she thinks Martin is boyfriend material, Montes said: “Kung titignan mo naman siya oo, maalaga siya, at mabait naman. Ang best quality niya yung pagiging maalaga niya on and off cam—maalalay sa role, sa kilos… Tsaka kapag naka-skirt ako sasabihan ako niyan, ‘Oh yung upo mo.’ Ganoon siya.”

“Walang Hanggan” is set to join ABS-CBN’s primetime block starting January 16.
