MANILA – “It was one hell of a ride.”

This was how Angel Locsin described her role as Jacintha, who bowed out of “La Luna Sangre” during its Tuesday episode.

Contrary to fan speculations, Locsin insisted that her series exit is already final.

It was one hell of a ride to play Jacintha.

The actress said she will definitely miss her role, as it was one of the most challenging characters she ever portrayed.

“Gusto ko 'yung hindi mo siya mabasa kung good or bad. For me kasi Jacintha is a hero. Handa siyang i-sacritice 'yung buhay niya para sa ikabubuti ng nakakarami,” she said.

Having helped Kathryn Bernardo's Malia put an end to Sandrino's reign of terror, Locsin's Jacintha disappears without revealing who she really is. Locsin, however, teased that viewers should continue to watch the series to know who her character was.

“Abangan niyo na lang kung ano ba ang revelation doon, kung sino ba talaga si Jacintha,” she said.

NEW PROJECTS

Currently, Locsin is busy with “Pilipinas Got Talent” where she is one of the judges. Aside from the talent show, Locsin revealed that she will have another series, as well as a movie with Richard Gutierrez this year.

Para pahinga muna sa drama,” she said.

Locsin said she is grateful because “La Luna Sangre” paved the way for her reunion with Gutierrez.

Hindi katulad dati na saan kami pupunta or anong oras ang call time,” she added.

Aside from maturing as a person, Locsin also lauded Gutierrez for his developed discipline when it comes to their craft.
