Vice Ganda: I don't think Kris will leave ABS-CBN

MANILA – Vice Ganda welcomed the decision of her good friend, television host Kris Aquino, to stay with ABS-CBN.

While he never talked to Aquino about the issue in the past, Vice Ganda said he never doubted that the award-winning TV host would choose to remain a Kapamilya.

“I expected that. I always believe that sobrang laki na ng pagmamahal na namuo sa network and kay Kris. I don’t think she’ll ever leave,” he said.

Vice Ganda said Aquino has developed close relationships with a lot of people in the network that it would be hard for her to leave them behind.

“Ang dami niyang mahal na mahal na tao sa network na iyan. Hindi lang 'yung network ang maiiwan niya kundi 'yung mga taong mahal na mahal niya. Since day one na nabalitaan ko iyan, I never believed na lilipat siya,” he said.

Aquino announced Monday night that she renewed her contract with ABS-CBN.

In her Instagram account, Aquino announced her contract renewal with the Kapamilya network came after her manager, Deo Endrinal, continued to talk to the ABS-CBN management while she is in London with her two sons.

The award-winning TV host also clarified that she never met with officials of rival network GMA7, but admitted seeing TV5 boss Manuel V. Pangilinan.
