MANILA -- Why is January 8 important to singer-actress Aiza Seguerra?
In her official Instagram account, Seguerra explained that she met girlfriend Liza Diño again on January 8, 2013, after years of not being in contact with each other.

"I remember being so excited pero ayoko ipahalata 'coz 'catching up' lang naman talaga ang pakay natin nung araw na 'yun. Finally, I saw you. You were wearing a grey top. Your hair looked amazing. You were sweating a lot but you looked so beautiful," she wrote in the caption.
"Naaalala ko, kinilig ako nun kaso pinigilan ko sarili ko kasi 'friends' lang tayo dapat. We started talking, oh how i loved our conversation. Parang kahit ang tagal natin hindi nagkita at nagusap, we felt so at ease with each other. Kung paano tayo 13 years back, ganon pa rin tayo. I never thought seeing you again would change my life. How a simple 'catching up' lunch would turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I found you all over again and this time I'm never letting go," Seguerra added.
Diño replied to the post: "Natawa ko sa 'sweating a lot but you looked beautiful.' haha! I was probably so nervous---ahhh, 13 long years, who would've thought? I will never forget how I tried to look cool as I approach you... Gone are the long hair and Harry Potter glasses you used to wear back in high school; I remember being so amazed kasi ang cool-cool na ng dating mo. naka-Beats headphones ka pa... laid back, casual but very urban."
"I'm just so happy fate found a way to bring us back together. You make me the happiestest (competitive lang talaga hehe)... I love you so so much," the Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism 2001 winner added.
In a previous interview with entertainment website Pep.ph, the former beauty queen said she and Seguerra first met years ago when the "My Little Bossings" star was still in high school.
They got in touch again in December 2013 since Diño was visiting Manila at the time.
Since then, Seguerra and Diño have become more open about their relationship.
During Seguerra's concert with Charice at the Araneta Coliseum last year, she even dedicated a song to Diño, who was even shown on the giant screen above the stage.
On Wednesday, Seguerra continued to open up about her love for Diño, whom she considers her "soulmate."
"You make me the happiest, my love. I can't help but look back on that day and just be amazed how the universe works to bring two people together. It feels so good that from that day i saw you again and everyday we have been together, i fall in love with you over and over again. Deeper and deeper each time," she wrote.
"January 8 is a day i will never forget. It's the day when my life finally began. I love you so much. More and more each day. You make me the happiest."
