MANILA – Comedian Vice Ganda admitted that he does not want to travel, particularly abroad, with his boyfriend.
The "It's Showtime" host said this is his way of keeping the object of his affection away from the public eye.
"Sobrang hirap. Hindi talaga kami lumalabas dito sa Pilipinas," he said in an interview on "Buzz ng Bayan" on Sunday. Umuwi ka, umuwi ka,'" he added.
Vice Ganda said he does not want his boyfriend to be the subject of intrigues which, he said, is inherent in showbiz.
Despite the challenges, Vice Ganda said he is happy in his relationship, with his boyfriend quietly supporting him.
"Masaya.
Asked how his boyfriend has supported him amid the success of his recent film, "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy," the comedian said: "Alam ko [proud siya sa akin]."
"Nung New Year, nagtext siya.
Among the names linked to Vice Ganda were GlobalPort players RR Garcia and Terrence Romeo, who were both from the Far Eastern University where the comedian got a bachelor’s degree.
Vice Ganda, however, has been consistent in refusing to identify who his special someone is.
