MANILA, Philippines – Comedian and television host Vice Ganda admitted that at one point he fell in love with his “It’s Showtime” co-host Jhong Hilario.
In a live interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday, Vice Ganda said he was once vocal about it because he truly loves Hilario.
Tahasan naman naming sinasabi sa ‘Showtime,’ inaamin naman namin na-in love talaga ako doon kay Jhong, na-develop ako doon,” he said.
It was unfortunate, however, that their “closeness” had to stop because the director of the hit noontime show talked to him about it.

“Ayaw nga. Hindi puwede sabi ng direktor. Kinausap ako at sinabing 'Hindi puwede iyan ah. Magkakapatid kayo dito ah. Mamaya magkakaroon ng eksena eksena,'” he shared.
So how did he cope with this?
Vice Ganda also shrugged off rumors saying he and another “It’s Showtime” host, Vhong Navarro, are not in good terms because he did not greet the latter during his birthday.
Bago pa siya mag-birthday, magkausap na kami ni Vhong,” he said.
Bad reviews for ‘Sisterakas’?
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda said he doesn't allow negative feedback about his latest movie “Sisterkas” to affect him.
“Choice kong hindi magpa-affect sa negativity kasi kapag nagpa-affect ako, madidiskaril ang diskarte ko sa buhay,” he said.
The comedian said he is aware that he will never be able to please everybody so he just focuses on the positive comments.
There are 7 billion people in the world.
Despite this, Vice Ganda thanked those who already saw the blockbuster comedy film.
“Sisterakas” – which also stars Kris Aquino and Ai Ai delas Alas – is currently the second all-time highest grossing local film.
Aquino reported that the hit film has already grossed over P320 million in nationwide earnings after only 12 days in cinemas.
