According to Liquigan, other Star Cinema projects lined up this year include (6) Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's first movie together. In an earlier interview with ABS-CBN News, the Kapamilya actor expressed his excitement for the Joyce Bernal-directed film.

"The other project (by Bernal), na horror naman, (7) for Vhong Navarro, which is co-produced by a Malaysian producer," Liquigan said.

Film director Chito Rono, best known for his horror movies such as "Feng Shui" and "The Healing," will likewise be directing two projects for ABS-CBN's film production arm this year.

"Isa para kay (8) Judy Ann Santos," Liquigan said. "At meron din para kay (9) Kris Aquino na si Direk Chito mismo ang nag-conceptualize."

After its back-to-back horror offerings in 2012, "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" and "Amorosa: The Revenge," Star Cinema's "maindie" division is now gearing up for a comedy film starring Eugene Domingo, Jake Cuenca and Enchong Dee.
