Sandara Park was a product of a talent search in ABS-CBN called “Star Circle Quest”. Aside from her cute Korean features, her spunky personality gave her the nickname, “Krung-Krung” which means crazy.

Sandara’s popularity in Philippine showbiz did not last long. In 2007, she went back home to Korea and there, she pursued her dream of becoming a star.

Meantime, Gerald Anderson was a product of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition. Though he did not get the grand prize, it opened doors to a great showbiz career.

And as a product of his success….

Just like Gerald, Jason Francisco was also a product of Pinoy Big Brother. His on and off-screen relationship with co-housemate Melai opened doors to numerous acting projects!

Jason confesses that he used to be a “tambay” in Mindoro before entering the Big Brother house.

Janice de Belen was 9 years old when she starred in the 80s popular soap, Flordeluna.

The relationship did not last long and eventually, she was forced to face life as a single mom to son, Luigi. Years after, Janice took another chance in love. She married actor, John Estrada. They had four kids.

Janice says that most of her dreams are for her kids…that they may be able finish school and that all their dreams would come true.

Owner Capt. Gaudencio Dumapias has also a rich story to tell behind his Ship Mansion. He narrated that before he became captain, he was just part of the maintenance crew of the ship. But through hard work and determination, he eventually became captain of the ship! And now, he showcases the very fruits of his hard labor, one of which is a P8 million mansion called the “Shiphaus”.

Another inspiring story featured this week was the life story of Mang Marfenio Tan of Gensan.

Mang Marfenio lived the life of a struggling fisherman. The fish community of Gensan was his world.

But dreams of making it big led him to work double time.  He strived to be able to study college in Cebu and went back every weekend to Gensan to get all kinds of odd jobs. Anything for extra income! He has worked as a jeepney driver, a porter and a vendor.

When he was able to save up, he bought his first commercial fishing boat. And that started it all.

Vicki and Hayden are considered to be one of the most controversial couples in the country today. The first time their relationship went public, they were already the talk of the town. Aside from the age gap, the controversy that Hayden got himself into caused a media frenzy.
