“Sa buhay na ito, ang tunay na very good ay iyong marunong tumawa sa gitna ng hirap ng buhay. Iyong bumabangon pagkatapos madapa at tandaan po natin na ang tunay na sukatan ng tagumpay ay ang sukli nitong kabutihan sa kapwa. At kung marunong kang magbalik, saka ka pa lamang mamarkahan ng VERY GOOD sa itaas!”

Bulilits Got Talent

Some BIG things indeed come in SMALL packages!

These kids are aged 10 years and below…and look at what they have accomplished!

Mae Ann and her friends were just playing outside when they were discovered by Coach Belinda Adora.  She brought her to her studio and that was the start of the kids’ love for dancing.

Coach Belinda tells Rated K that kids are a lot easier to teach. This is so because the kicks and other complicated dance moves in Latin Jive, Cha Cha and other ballroom dances feel like playing “Chinese Garter” or “Piko” to them.

The Savannah Group has joined several dance contests and has brought home trophies and awards….VERY GOOD!

Mae Ann Dialogo is one of more than 60 students under Coach
Belinda of the Savannah Moon Dance Studio.
Korina visits the Savannah Moon Studio at Libis, Quezon City.

Another tandem of Very Good Bulilit! Twins Tintin and Wengweng Grado!

At six years old, the twin’s passion for acting already brought them to several events and talent searches.

The twins’ fave artists to impersonate are Tito Boy and Krissy!
The Grado twins at the Star Circle Quest “The Search for the Next
Kiddie Superstar” aired on ABS-CBN.

And finally, our Bulilit Drummer Boy, Sean Samonte!

At age two, Sean’s favorite toddler trick was making beats using his milk cans and baby powder containers. That was why his father believed that Sean would obviously love playing the drums when he gets a little older.

When Sean was old enough to enroll for drums lessons, his love for the instrument grew. He is now training under professional drummers and never fails to amaze his teachers.

6-year old Sean…our VERY GOOD Bulilit Drummer boy!

Drums teacher Shenald Garcines says Sean is a gifted child, and  that in the next two years, if Sean continues practicing, the kid will even end up playing a lot better than his teachers. VERY GOOD!

Winners Forever!

Here is a rundown of featured “Winners Forever”  in our VERY GOOD Episode.

Heartthrob Coco Martin was first noticed in the Indie Film, “Masahista.” Since then, he got acting projects left and right.

Believe it or not, Coco Martin has already won seven (7) Best Actor Awards…Very Good!

If Coco won awards for doing drama, Comedy Concert Queen Aiai delas Alas got hers from making people laugh. In an interview with Korina, Aiai revealed her secret --- “Parating dasal, sipag at tiyaga, respeto sa kapwa mo, respeto sa kapwa ko artista.”

Aside from movies that were definite hits in the box office, Aiai has won 2 awards as Best Comedy Actress and won Best Actress in the recent MMFF.

Rated K also took a peek at Aiai’s house! She said she calls her house “Miracle House” since it was built during the time when she didn’t have projects.

“Ang bait ng Panginoon at masarap mabuhay.” --- Aiai delas Alas

VERY GOOD din si Dr. Antonio Mateo na naka-imbento ng “Super Wheels” – isang wheelchair na may built-in na casillas, mesa at liguan!

Dr. Mateo’s “Super Wheelchair” has won international awards!...
Very Good!

And when it comes to tourist destinations, the most awarded would be….the last frontier, Palawan!

Palawan already garnered the “Destination of the Year” award from Kalakbay. This is considered to be the highest award when it comes to tourism. Palawan is also among the 20 best destinations in the 2011 list by National Geographic. The famous underground river is also among the 28 places vying for a place in the “7 Wonders of Nature”.

Diploma ni Lola

Nanay Cenen married early and started a family at 17 years old. And as a consequence, she had to stop school. She could have been a graduating high school student then.

But after a failed marriage and years of bringing up her children alone, Nanay Cenen decided to do something…this time for herself. She decided to finish her studies.

Her classmates were obviously a lot younger than her, but this did not stop Nanay Cenen from getting A’s in class.

This March, Nanay Cenen graduated among a hundred students from Jose Corazon de Jesus Elementary School…a life long dream fulfilled.
